What to Expect

Where do I park?

• Emmanuel’s main parking is divided into two sections that can be best approached by visitors from N. Kelley Avenue at 21st Street in Oklahoma City.
• While parking is ample, you should get there early because the later you arrive, the longer the distance you’ll need to walk to get to Worship.
• Emmanuel is at 2140 N. Kelley in OKC. Parking on the street is available but not advised.

When you arrive, you should expect:

• To be greeted and comfortably seated in a place where you will be able to make the connection with God.
• To be surrounded by people of faith, who are authentically glad to see you!
• To be welcomed by a dynamic pastor who speaks compassionately from a strong Biblical knowledge base.
• That every segment of worship will begin [and end] in prayer.
• To hear a mixture of music from the Baptist Hymnal, Negro Spirituals and Contemporary Gospel.

What are your worship services like?

• Worship Services are lively, cheerful, with high expectancies of learning and understanding God’s Word.
• One can expect friendly spirits and humble smiles. Nevertheless, Emmanuel has a long history that establishes a spirit of excellence relative to Teaching Ministries, always striving to rightly divide the Word of Truth.

What is the typical attire?

• Typically, members really do dress fashionably when attending Sunday Worship Services, but many people decide to wear their street clothes and feel quite comfortable and welcome.
• Casual Clothes / T-Shirts are requested for Fourth Sundays since that time is specifically dedicated to our Youth, our friends, and our unchurched family members. 

Is childcare available?

• Yes!
• The Nursery is open each Sunday for ages 0-4, after Check-In
